Pakistan’s rural areas are deprived of even the basic medical facilities and services resulting into an unimaginably high mortality rate, malnutrition, disease and lack of preventative care. To address this issue, AGI has taken a healthcare initiative for setting up clinics and medical dispensaries in rural and underdeveloped areas.   We have set up our first clinic and medical dispensary in Ashrafabad, Bahawalpur where qualified doctors, practitioners and nurses provide treatment and free consultation to the public.   Under this initiative, a number of campaigns are organized to raise awareness on diseases such as dengue, typhoid and malaria and to promote best practices for common ailments. To counter infant mortality and pregnancy complications, AGI has also started a gynecologist center, the Zach Bach center, for the benefit of women in these communities.  show less
